Spring needs to Hurry Up

It’s always a bit of gamble guessing when to start seeds in anticipation of Spring. We decided this year to grow our own onion seedlings rather than relying completely on sets. Both of us started flats of seeds, not being sure how it will go.

Fortunately they’ll take a bit of cold under a protected, covered bed as soon as snow melts off and the soil thaws.
